FEES
What about that well?
We often get questions about the compensation of complementary medicine and that is understandable. In this piece we will briefly explain the possibilities exist. However this will also write questions, because insurers in their first presentation of fees not always all information. This is because there is a difference between the fees overview and the policy conditions. In the policy conditions are specified by item and the actual fees included in the fees overview on main lines.
Compensation consultations
The reimbursement of consultations is regulated in the supplementary health insurance. It is a requirement that the consultation is carried out by a doctor or licensed therapist and that this is affiliated with a professional insurance, for example the AVIG (Doctors' Association for Integral Medicine). In addition, you often have to deal with three conditions, namely (i) a maximum fee per consultation, for example 45 euro per consultation, (ii) a time-based unit, namely a maximum of one consultation per day and (iii) a maximum amount, for example 600 euro per year. A range of different remuneration rules, which sometimes confusing.
Fee treatments
The reimbursement of treatments depends on which kind of treatment. If there is a consultation shall be reimbursed in accordance with the above mentioned fee consultations.
Reimbursement of medications
Often can be used as a maxim, that medication prescribed by the family doctor or medical specialist been reimbursed, unless they fall outside the basic insurance such as LDN. Medication prescribed from HME Orthokliniek is, subject to exceptions, not reimbursed. The exceptions are also included in the policy conditions.
Fees of blood/urine investigations
Blood/urine investigations that are not by a general practitioner or medical specialist be requested will not be reimbursed from the basic insurance. Because HME Orthokliniek uses mostly wider Diagnostics, sometimes more specialist laboratories and in addition is reimbursed from the supplementary insurance are our blood/urine investigations not be reimbursed.
You are just not always more expensive by Diagnostics via HME to Orthokliniek. Within the current basic insurance is that blood/urine researching your own risk goes off. If your health care consumption is lower that the excess, then you are actually not more expensive off at HME Orthokliniek.
There are two exceptions: the insurers ONVZ and VVAA also reimburse blood and urine tests from the supplementary insurance.
