QUALITY
Satisfied patients are important for HME Orthokliniek, in fact our lifeblood. In order to provide high-level care and service, we want to continually improve the quality of care and services. An important part is the feedback of our patients.
Patient satisfaction
We consider it very important to hear the patients' opinions. This enables us to adjust our services in certain respects. We have developed a customer satisfaction form, which you can activate with this link. We would like to know your experience and opinion. Of course, you can also fill in the form anonymously. Do you have a comment, complaint or compliment? Let us know!
Certification
In 2017, we will have the visitation of our medical association for integrative medicine (AVIG). In addition, we will join an independent quality mark or independent certification agency. We have developed our quality manual, apply the hygiene protocols in accordance with laws and regulations and have described and standardised our services as much as possible. We also attach great value to the fact that our organisation external is tested.
Ensuring quality
To ensure quality and patient safety, several internal and external audits are carried out each year. For example, continuous feedback takes place from patients and we receive medical specialists. Moreover, several quality, safety and hygiene protocols have been developed and we are putting a lot of time and energy into intervision and staff training.
In order to ensure the quality of doctors, it is ensured that registration in the BIG register and connection to umbrella organisations.
Dutch health care Inspectorate
HME Orthoklinik is under the supervision of the Dutch health care Inspectorate (IGZ). Our reporting obligation is met every year.
At the beginning of 2016, the Health Care Inspectorate visited HME. This resulted in a constructive review based on the base set of risk indicators private clinics. The report was overall sufficient to good. A number of observations have also been made and architectural adjustments were required, which were implemented in 2016. Many of these improvement points have already been appointed In our planning documents. In 2016, we have implemented these points of improvement. The dossier is therefore concluded with good effect.

A word in advance: the complaints procedure needs to be amended in accordance with new laws and regulations. In cooperation with Quasir, we are implementing this. Our new complaints procedure was published in January 2017.
